Enrollment and Facilities Study
The Cedar Rapids Community School District is committed to providing excellent educational programs for all students and regularly reviews practices so improvements can be made. To this end, the District engaged in a study of enrollment trends and facilities during the 2010-11 school year.
- The information from these studies was reviewed and considered by a diverse stakeholder committee of teachers, administrators, parents, and community members and consultants to provide the superintendent with guidance in forming administrative recommendations to the Board of Education.
- Two public input Open House sessions were also held
to gather stakeholder comment. - The superintendent presented his recommendations on Feb. 13, 2012.
- The Board is expected to act on the recommendations on March 12, 2012.
