The Cedar Rapids Community School District is proud to recognize the academic achievements of some 1,038 students this week with commencement ceremonies for each of the four high schools.
Jefferson High School celebrates 315 graduates; Kennedy High School honors 357 graduates; Washington High School recognizes 292 graduates; and Metro High School congratulates 74 graduates (from all terms and including GED recipients). The District is also graduating students from the Home School Assistance Program and the Special Services Transition Center. Congratulations to the Class of 2014!
Commencement exercises for Washington (Thursday, May 29), Jefferson (Friday, May 30), and Kennedy (Saturday, May 31) will air live on KCRG 9.2 starting at 7:30 p.m. on each date. The District will re-broadcast the commencement ceremonies for all four high schools throughout the month of June on Mediacom channel 17 and ImOn channel 705 at 7 p.m. according to the schedule below.
