Coronavirus Update March 11, 2020

Please read this Coronavirus Update - March 11, 2020 (Click Here) for information on steps that would be taken if a case of COVID-19 were to be confirmed in our district.

Also, you may be wondering about how spring break travel might impact our school district and community. At the time of this letter, there are five countries around the world which the U.S. Centers for Disease Control have identified as being a high risk for the spread of Coronavirus: China, Iran, Italy, Japan and South Korea. The Iowa Department of Public Health recommends that anyone who visits those countries voluntarily self-isolates for 14 days upon their return. There are no other travel advisories or restrictions pertaining to Coronavirus, either internationally or within the United States. However, at this time, Coronavirus cases have been confirmed in nearly 100 countries and 35 states, including Iowa. Before traveling, be sure to stay informed. For the latest information, please visit the CDC website.
