The Cedar Rapids Community School District provides an inquiry based science experience for all students in the areas of earth, life, and physical science.  Our curriculum engages students in critical thinking through accepted scientific practices and laboratory experiences. Science units include concepts that cut across disciplines to prepare students for further education or career paths.

The Cedar Rapids Community School District utilizes the Iowa Core as our academic standards for what students should know and be able to do from Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
