How to Apply

We will no longer accept any paper applications or attachments. You must complete the electronic application and attach all necessary documents in order to apply for a specific position.

Applicants with complete files will be screened by an administrator according to established criteria. An interview team will select the successful candidate for hire.

The advantages for applicants of our electronic system include:

The system is e-mail driven. If your e-mail address changes, you must update it in the application or you will not receive status notifications from us.

  1. Cover letter
  2. Current resume
  3. At least three letters of reference
  4. Iowa administrative license
  5. Background check release form (law requires we receive your signature on this release form)

Teaching/Facilitator Applicants

Questions regarding the Teaching application can be directed to Sue Wilber (Elementary) at 319-558-1129 or by e-mail to swilber@cr.k12.ia.us or Stephanie Krause (Secondary) at 319-558-3843 or by email to skrause@cr.k12.ia.us. Within the application there is an “Attachments” section to be used to submit the following documents:

  1. Cover letter
  2. Current resume
  3. At least three letters of reference
  4. Iowa teaching license
  5. Background check release form (law requires we receive your signature on this release form)

Coaching/Supplemental Applicants

Questions regarding the General application can be directed to Angie Etscheidt at 319-558-4225 or by e-mail to aetscheidt@cr.k12.ia.us. Within the application there is an “Attachments” section to be used to submit the following document:

  1. Valid coaching authorization or endorsement
  2. Background check release form (law requires we receive your signature on this release form)

If you have not already done so, please contact the Athletic Director or Athletic Coordinator at the building with the open position (school phone numbers)

Information Technology Technician (I.T.T.) Applicants
