As we begin our process to create a strategic master facilities plan, we want to understand our community’s priorities and opinions to ensure we’re charting the right course for our future.
Our Facilities Master Planning Survey is now open to all Cedar Rapids Community School District parents, employees, and community members. The survey invites feedback in several key areas, including finances, teaching and learning, grade configuration and boundary criteria, 21st century learning, and more. The survey feedback will be used to help develop a strategic facilities master plan.
“With this plan, we’re reimagining how we can best serve students, re-envisioning what our District model should be, and reinvesting in our school facilities,” said Dr. Brad Buck, superintendent of schools. “Our community’s input is critical to a successful planning process.”
Parents and employees should receive a survey invitation and link by email. Others can take the survey at http://tiny.cc/CRCSD_FacilitiesInput.
We’ve partnered with independent research and communications firm K12 Insight to administer the survey and compile the results. All responses are strictly confidential.
