Dear CRCSD Families,
As we prepare to embark on our Continuous Learning Plan (which was submitted to the Iowa Department of Education and approved earlier this week) together, it is critical that we gather information from each household and for each student regarding how best to communicate with the child(ren) in your care through the coming weeks.
Please complete the short survey you received via email by 5pm tomorrow, April 10. Please access this document to learn more about our Continuous Learning Plan.
This is a new learning landscape for many of us, and we appreciate your patience and partnership.
It’s important to note that if you wish to continue receiving printed packets of materials, starting April 20, you must indicate this in the survey. This survey will override any current practice regarding mailing packets to families. Printed materials will continue to be available at our food distribution sites.
HIGH SCHOOL FAMILIES
It is possible that you have already started hearing from your child’s school, requesting similar information. Please complete the survey in this email and respond to your student’s high school instructor with the requested information.
By Monday, April 13th, high school students can expect their second semester course grades to be updated as of March 13th.
Throughout next week, high school teachers will be contacting students, posting office hours to be available to students, and students will begin to receive options for grade improvement.
By 8:30am on April 20, new coursework for continuous learning will be sent to students by their teacher through Gmail, Google Classroom, or Canvas.
Additionally, please review this FAQ for more information about a number of themes such as the high school continuous learning plans, credits, graduation, AP courses.
