The Cedar Rapids Community School District offers eligible employees a benefit plan based on IRS-Section 125 legislation. The benefit package includes cafeteria plan and salary reduction options according to each work agreement. The benefit plan year is July 1 through June 30.
Each spring all eligible employees of the Cedar Rapids Community School District are given the opportunity to make or change their benefit choices for the next plan year. It is each employee’s responsibility to access the electronic enrollment system during the Annual Enrollment period.
The following guides will assist you in navigating through the annual enrollment process. Choose the one that matches your group.
Types of changes that require accessing the on-line system during this time include:
- Participation in the Flexible Spending Reimbursement accounts
o Health FSA (medical reimbursement)
o Dependent Care FSA (Child care reimbursement)
Addition of health/dental insurance
Cancellation of health/dental insurance
- Changing of family health and/or dental insurance coverage to single; employee/spouse; or employee/child(ren) and/or vice versa

User Name: Employee log-in is your entire first name, first letter of your last name and the last four digits of your social security number
Password: The initial password is your entire social security number without using dashes or spaces.
When the Annual Enrollment process is completed the electronic enrollment system is closed. All benefits desired for the new plan year are locked in the enrollment system and no further changes are allowed until the next Annual Enrollment period.
