Throughout February and March District students are enjoying performances by Cedar Rapids Symphony/Orchestra Iowa ensembles. The mini concerts are part of the District’s ongoing partnership with the orchestra.

String Quartet members performed for second grade students; the Brass Quintet presented concerts for fourth grade students. All of the concerts took place within the school setting. These fine arts concerts are aligned with District grade level curriculum and standards, according to Melissa Summers, elementary music lead teacher.
