All 270 students at the Grant Early Childhood Center received a new book to take home thanks to the "Get Booked” Program. The program was sponsored by the Cedar Rapids Police Department, Barnes and Noble Booksellers, and Quota International. Grant was chosen as a recipient because of the high number of students attending the school who were directly affected by the June flood.
