District Celebrates 2010 Graduates

During the lesson, students discussed factors that limited their choices.

A group of Kennedy students experienced the culture of South Africa as part of a Summer Discovery Tour.

The District will recognize the academic achievements of more than 1,100 students this week and weekend, with commencement ceremonies set for each of the four high schools. Jefferson High School will graduate 345 students; Kennedy High School plans to graduate 367 students; Washington High School will graduate 322 students; and Metro High School will celebrate the graduation of 85 students (from all terms). Congratulations to all the graduates of 2010!

The District will air the commencement ceremonies throughout June on Mediacom channel 17 and ImOn channel 13 at 7 p.m. according to the schedule below.

Metro - Wednesdays

Jefferson - Thursdays

Kennedy - Fridays

Washington - Saturdays
