Franklin Student Counci prepares Horizon Mealsl

This week #OurStoriesCRCSD is Franklin Middle School. This year marks the 9th year that the Franklin Student Council has participated in the annual Horizons "Lunch Box Fundraiser." It's one of the most favorite Student Council Community Services projects the group does during the school year. The students donate 2 to 2 1/2 hours of time to help in the organizing of items that will go into the lunch boxes. Students helped with the packaging of cookies and napkins on Monday. Students will continue this type of work on Tuesday and Wednesday.

"Kids have changed somewhat, but we have a great staff, that has always Benn a great staff for the last 34 years here that work with kids where they are needed and what they need. I'm a special education para and it is so neat to see kids in the community that remember me and it's fun." Marilyn Schaefer, Special Education Paraprofessional.
