We believe in creating accessible and equitable environments for all students to have a plan, path, and passion for their future.  Having a device in all students' hands will enhance and transform your student’s experience and break down barriers.

1to1image5 Chromebooks (student devices) will be deployed again for the 2020-2021 school year.  This year our Middle Schools will join the High Schools with 1:1 devices.

Middle school students will have access to these devices (Franklin, Harding, McKinley, Roosevelt, Taft, Wilson and off-sites).

OUR GOALS:

To enhance and transform the student experience to increase student's creativity, communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and digital citizenship.

 

OUR PLAN:

The Office of Digital Literacy along with our middle and high school’s have been collaborating to create a comprehensive plan that includes policy, logistics, device selection, and student safety.

POLICY -

All students receiving a device will have to sign an acknowledgement form from our “Student Device Use Agreement. (PDF File)(Opens in a new window)”  Please read this document carefully as it talks about care and use, lost and stolen devices, and fine structure.



ROLL-OUT -

All student devices will be given out on a timeline that their school puts forward.  Each school will communicate the device delivery method to parents prior to the start of school.



DEVICE -

CRCSD student devices will be a Chromebook with a touch screen, 360° hinge, and two cameras for student production.
