What are the responsibilities of your office or department?
I lead and manage operations of the District’s six middle schools. I am responsible for administrative supervision of all programs for personalized learning and for all instructional services provided in partner-based programs. As a member of the Office of Learning and Leadership (OLL), there is a strong focus on developing instructional leaders’ (Principals and Assistant Principals) capacity through targeted coaching along the Marzano Leadership Framework. Likewise, I am focused on ensuring building leaders have the skills to coach teachers using the Marzano New Arts and Science of Teaching instructional framework. This intentionality is part of a strategic effort to expose students to 21st century technology and building capacity for differentiated learning experiences that will better prepare students for success with an emphasis on completing post-secondary education/training.
