School Improvement Plans

School improvement is an ongoing process in the Cedar Rapids Community School District.  The District and each school site engage in a process of continuous improvement that involves analyzing data, identifying strengths and weaknesses, setting goals, and implementing a plan to improve classroom instruction and  student learning. The plan focuses on improving  classroom instruction and professional learning for teachers. Each plan is a living document that is monitored and adjusted to meet the learning for students.  The school improvement plan for each school site is aligned with our larger district goals of Narrowing the Achievement Gap, Implementing the Professional Learning Community Model, and Assuring Quality Instruction for all students.
