Here are a few updates from CRCSD.
New Quarantine Guidance from the State
There is new COVID-19 guidance from Governor Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Department of Public Health regarding when to quarantine. Her recent decisions resulted in a change in our schools.
- The following has changed at our schools: students do not need to be quarantined if they are exposed to someone who tests positive at school, if both people are wearing masks appropriately. Reminder: all CRCSD students and staff are expected to wear face masks at school.
- The following has not changed at our schools: If a student lives in the home with a household member who is positive, the student must quarantine for 14 days beginning from the last day of exposure, regardless of masks being worn by household members.

Helpdesk Hours Beginning October 5
We are adjusting our helpdesk hours starting on Monday, October 5th, ending the 7am-7pm M-Th time windows. As days have progressed in the last couple of weeks, call volume between 5-7pm has been very minimal.
In order to best serve our students and staff, we will bring our helpdesk back into the prime hours of the school day. We will conduct helpdesk hours 7am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 7am-4pm on Friday, starting next week.
