Managing Student Illness - Exclusion Policy

A student will be excluded from school when the student's condition has been determined to create a health risk to others in the school district environment or when the student is too ill to attend school.

Such determination shall be made on a case-by-case basis by the student's physician, appropriate school staff members, and/or the District’s medical consultant.

The State Department of Public Health and/or the Linn County Health Department also may be consulted.
