Health Services - School Screenings

Body Mass Index (BMI)
District health and/or PE staff members will screen height and weight of kindergarten and 5th grade students. Results will be sent home with each child. If you do not wish your child to be screened, you must notify the school health office. If your child had a physical for this school year, we may use that height and weight data to calculate your child’s BMI.
