Due to high rates of influenza in the community, Linn County Public Health has recommended that students with a fever above 100.0 should be excluded from school until they are fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medicine. If you are aware that your child has a fever, please keep him/her home until the child is fever free, without medication, for 24 hours. If it is discovered at school that your child has a fever, we will notify the family and arrange for the child to be picked up from school. The 24 hour school exclusion policy will continue through the remainder of the influenza season at the end of April. Thank you for your cooperation in supporting our efforts to maintain a healthy and safe environment for students.
