THANK YOU Cedar Rapids voters for supporting the students of CRCSD by voting “YES” to extend the Secure and Advanced Vision for Education (SAVE) fund to 2050.
“I’m incredibly proud of our community tonight. Extending this measure for 30 more years will enable CRCSD to continue to support the needs of our students. Over the years, these funds have made improvements possible that benefit all students, including $30 million on technology, $2.16 million for ADA compliance projects, and—most recently—Kingston stadium track and field improvements. Tonight, voters have chosen to invest in our youngest community members and the future of our community. This vote ensures we’re able to continue providing essential support and resources in the areas of technology, facilities, and infrastructure to deliver on our vision of Every Learner: Future Ready. The future of CRCSD is bright! Thank you for your part in that.” — Noreen Colbeck-Bush
