Cedar Rapids Community School District’s Board of Directors voted Friday to appoint Scot Reisinger to fill the current Board vacancy. Mr. Reisinger will hold office until a successor is elected and qualified at the November 2021 school board election.
Scot Reisinger brings to the CRCSD board of directors over 20 years of experience in higher education and currently is the Director of Student Services at the College of Public Health, University of Iowa. He has a PhD in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Iowa and a masters degree in Psychology from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland. Additionally, Reisinger has a background in athletics where he served as Athletic Director at Mount Mercy College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, from 2008-2015.
