#OurStoriesCRCSD - Erskine

School Year 2018-19

This week with #OurStoriesCRCSD, we feature Erskine Elementary. Meet this new to the school third-grader, who has developed a love for his school.
The Erskine Elementary Eagle Ambassadors are select fifth-grade leaders who guide students in the Erskine way - being respectful, responsible, and safe. They run the school store, assist new students to the school and guide morning announcements to make the school a better place. #OurStoriesCRCSD

Involvement of the Erskine PTA
Last year Erskine PTA able to install a new ADA approved playground. We purchased three new pieces of equipment and also installed playground tile under the new pieces. Our families really pulled together to make this happen and it was installed this summer.
The PTA at Erskine is very important. It gives the families and the teachers a chance to have a more personal relationship. We keep the families informed with what is going on within the school and the classrooms. It also helps the teachers get to know the families a little bit better. Erskine PTA really relies on volunteer hours whether parents can come to events for a few hours to lend a hand or we have parents that are very generous in supporting the supplies that we need for our school. PTA really just gives us a sense of community.
- Marcy Pease, Erskine's PTA President

Stepping up and making a difference for Erskine. 5th Graders are part of the school’s green team. With the support of their staff leaders, the 5th graders lead by example for the younger students. #OurStoriesCRCSD
